Hi,

Been over clocking current system and can get to 4ghz, but when running prime95 to stress test the system I get very high temps in the 90's within a minute of starting the stress test. I was waiting to see how good the H70 was but looking at the reviews I am now looking to up grade from my current CPU cooler (Titan fenrir with Apache Fan) to the NH-D14 as it looks like the best option for me and out there on the market at the present time, so I would love a chance of winning one in your competition and cooling down my hot very hot CPU.

Since my original post I have changed my Thermal compound from Arctic Silver to MX-3 and also lapped both my CPU and base of the Titan Fenrir (it was not that flat!!), this has resulted in a reduction in temps, but when subjecting the system to a stress test with Prime95 I still reach temps in the high 90's but after 3 minutes, so that’s better than before but still lots of room for improvement, would love to try a NH-D14.

Starting to panic as i still have friends and family staying and they are barricading my PC Room and using it as a bedroom " How dare they !" any way as soon as they are gone my entry will be on its way. sent from laptop

Hay, i saw this Noctua Cooling Competition, and i tought this is just what i need, i have i old PC case, with no vents, its has both side panels opend because with them it gets so HOT inside the case and my PC shutdown him self after a while, my motherboard is Gigabyte M720-US3, und my procesor is AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ with stock cooler, and this is my results:

STOCK: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1351002

CURRENT (while wrighting this, OCCT tested, stabil OC): http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1351052

HIGHEST (for now): http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1351046

A BIT HIHGHER: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1351708

I think a NOCTUA cooler would help my to go much, much higher, and ofcourse, i LOVE NOCUTA, especial NH-D14!?

I would like to win a Noctua cooler to replace my current V8 cooler which is holding me back from getting a higher overclock on my Core i7 920.

When I saw the NH-D 14's at a shop I immediately fell in love with her, but like most women she only likes guys with lot's of money, so I had to walk away feeling sad and lonely once again

Looks like it would be hard. The PSU is massive as are the wire lengths and the case looks awful small. doesn't look like it has any or much CM either.
