No signal to my monitors!

Hi there, having a problem where everything seems to be turning on, but i get no signal to either of my monitors. Having trouble trying to diagnose the problem because of no image. The only hardware i can swap out was GPUs which i did and had the same problem. After some searching on google people say it might be a PSU failure. I just thought i should come here first before i go out and buy a new power supply. Any help would be much appreciated!

No i don't get a post beep, but i never have.

Pressing caps-lock or numpad and seeing the keyboard leds go off/on as you do is a good way to check if the rest of the system is working.

lol never hooked a speaker to your MOBO then?

without a post beep it's quite hard to diag but like rastalovich said try the keyboard trick

next think to try is to unplug everything from the MOBO apart from power switch, 24pin and 8 pin power

Before i posted i took everything apart and putting it back in as we speak. Will taking out the little battery make a difference? To answer your question lights for my mouse and keyboard where both working.

Tried different cables? Worth a try.

Be very unusual, even if you don't get a beep, to not see the initial post screen from the graphic card. Most cards, even when underpowered, will give you that.

.. then crap out when more than a 8bit 800x600 screen is needed >.<

Some how i got it to work, took out the little battery put it all back, and it just came on first time. Thanks for all the help though, was a nice welcome to this forum!
