If it doesnt go on reps, then people will look at number of posts instead. Then we'll get people posting random crap just to get their number of posts up.

People should take the reps/posts system will a grain of salt. And i'll be watching out for self reppers. Only thing is, i won't be banning them, just removing twice as many reps as they've given themselfs.

the rep system gies people an incentive and a goal to posting. this is tunr then encourages people to help the poor n00bs and give good advice, thus benefiting everyone. you do not have to take pride in your rep score (i dont like i did on oc.net) but for some people it is their goal in life
