No points for WU :(

hi guys

on a earlier update it shows that i have completed a WU but i have got no points for it

is it normal for this to happen?

i have checked through my logs and i don't see any errors or anything that could of prevented me getting the points. also not sure if it was a SMP WU or GPU0

usually zero points for a submitted WU is from a EUE (early unit end)

everything says it is completed perfectly fine.

would a EUE show that it ended early in the FAH GPU tracker V2 or does it just appear to have finished on time when it hasn't

Not familiar with GPU Tracker, but HFM.net shows comp. and fail WU's. Another possibility is a completed WU that was rejected for some reason by the receive server. That should show in the FAH log file if you are using verbosity 9 flag.

didn't have verbosity 9 flag enabled.

do now though still not entirely sure what it does but i'm sure it does something good

Verbosity 9 give you max info in the F@H log file.....verbose = wordy and 9 is the highest setting

IIRC if you use the GPU tracker it should (also) say so in the logfile !

ok got it again today seemed it happened shortly after i left to go to Toms. Also roughly an hour i had restarted it after turning it off while i sleep. Seems it was GPU0 that failed.

got a error message this time as well this time.

Hi guys i am 100% back with posting ,

i am aware i have not been so nice with some other posts (i think here in the FAH section) in the past (what's new

) not 100% sure what i posted,

but typical me SnW

, i still try to be as nice as i can

i also have some bad news in regards to another friend of mine ,he has cancer and his time is getting very short at the moment he tried everything but he stopped every help as it has gone to far to cure,

reason i checked OC3D more often , as i also had to think of phill (phill and FAH = always one in my mind) and how stupid my (bad) post on here where

we did a thread (on a bodybuild forum) and got him (raised) money for some days he could spend for whatever he wanted to do (or something he always wanted to do)

SO, i am also going to start FAH again when my rig is on , its for now only my i7 as i only have a 5450 GPU at the moment

going to set it up later when i can get my asss to it!

I missed you guys and i am sorry for the HIJACK!!!

I get "UNSTABLE_MACHINE" messages when my GPU OC is a tiny bit too high. Had to drop my core and memory clocks by about 10MHz to get it stable. Mostly happens on 6800 units for me.

It's good to see you here again, Ray. I'm sorry to hear your friend is not doing so well. I'll keep him in my thoughts. Just promise me in future you'll PM me when you need to rant.

On that note, an ex Redline and very good friend of mine is actually recieving treatment for cancer right now. They're almost out of the woods but it's going to be a long road ahead. I'm not going to name names (so please don't ask) but I just thought that on a personal level, with all the reasons we all Fold, for Phil, for our loved ones, for those we'll never get to meet but care about all the same, we have another person to consider in our efforts and in our thoughts.
