NewEgg Iron Egg Price Guarantee

I ordered a i7 4770k for my wifes PC on December 9 for 324.99. I see today micro center has the i7 4770k for 249.99. My i7 4770k has the NewEgg Iron Egg Price Guarantee, but I see micro center was not a store that they matched with. I decided to give it a shot anyway, and call. I called, and they told me micro center is not a store they match with. So I said how do I go about returning my item, because I' am not gonna pay 75 extra bucks if I don't have to. I also told her, and she saw how much money I spent over the years on newegg. I said I would only use amazon in the future(they do like losing customers especially to amazon) She put me on hold. She then came back, and said that since micro center is not a listed store on the Iron Egg Guarantee that the best they could do was give me half of the 75, 37.50 which they rounded off to 40 bucks in a Newegg gift card. I said 40 dollars gift card that I can only use on Newegg vs 75 that I can use anywhere. I told her I will still be returning the item. She once again put me on hold. When she came back this time they offered me a 100 dollar newegg gift card, which I accepted. The gift card is not cash, but it's 25 more, and I use newegg a lot anyway. I' am now gonna be getting a GTX 780 TI instead of a GTX 780.

So if any of you guys have ordered something from November 1st - now, and it has the NewEgg Iron Egg Price Guarantee, and you see it somewhere cheaper call them even if it's not a listed store they have on there list.

The reason Microcenter is not on that list is because the charge about $50-$100 less than anywhere else(in-store only deal) so many companies do not want to price match to save money.

That's why I just go to MC as the money saved is more than the gas it takes to get there. Bought my 3570k for only $179.99 instead of newegg for $240 at the time.
