New video card

Hi im looking for a new video card for my build.

I was thinking of going:

MSI GTX580 Lightning

or

MSI Radeon HD6970 2GB Lightning

or

Gigabyte Radeon HD6970 2GB Overclocked

only going 1 videocard........ but in future will prob go 2.........

which one will be better for gaming and i also have 2 24"monitors.........

hi. the 580. it's quieter and performs better and SLI drivers are very good for 2 cards. i guess you use 1920x1080 ish res. 2 580's should run that well in very demanding games. the 580 overclocks well

the 580 is also quite a bit more powerful. the 6970 performs like a 570 in most situations. if you have the extra money i would grab the 580!

GTX 580 wipes the floor with almost anyother GPU however i reccoemd you get the reference one, the lightning, yes it may look cool but it is for those extreme overclockers, like EXTREME, the standard Twin Frozr II variant or the reference design one should eb fine.
