Not sounding like an ass, but why not go into your store and see them in the flesh? You may want one over the other that someone could recommend (although I'd personally go for the LED

Even if you don't go to see them in person make sure you do a lot of research on the TV you are going to buy, LCD and LED TV's have their pros and cons.

I spent the last couple of months trying to find the right one for me, finally found one now though

. The thing you have to look out for more than anything if you are going to be gaming on it or using it as a monitor is the amount of input lag a TV has. A high input lag is bad, the higher the input lag the longer the delay of you pressing a button on your control pad or moving your mouse and it happening on the TV.

Most TV's come with a "game mode" which turns all the extra picture quality off to cut down the input lag but on some TV's even in game mode the input lag is to high, look for an input lag of below 30ms otherwise gaming is going to be crap.

Another thing with LED TV's with back lighting or side lighting you need to look out for is what's called clouding, this is where the LED lighting shows up sort of like clouds on dark scenes so check that the TV you are going to buy does not suffer from bad clouding.

A couple of sites that I used for researching TV's and checking if they were good or bad are the following, just search for the model number in the search box.

I've looked at the customer reviews for each TV, and I'm going to get the LG TV.

The reviews say it's pretty good for gaming with no lag, picture quality is meant to be very good and sound quality is good as well.

It also has "game mode" which is a plus.

But when I go to get it, I'll ask about both, just to make sure.

If you can find a 32" 1080P TV, you're good to go.

TV quality goes as follows: LED > LCD LED Backlit > LCD > Plasma.

Good luck finding the one.

Hello,

I need a little help on some TV's that I'm interested in.

The first TV is a "LG 32" Full HD LCD TV"

http://www.currys.co...091328-pdt.html

The second tv is a "SAMSUNG 32" HD Ready LED TV"

http://www.currys.co...078476-pdt.html

The LG TV is full hd, so 1080p. But the Samsung TV's an Led TV.

So.. which one do you think is better?

Also, the TV that I get will be connected to my Xbox and PS3.

Thank you.

Out of those two i would go for the LG one but i would not get any of them. I would go for this TV http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-32PFL3605H-widescreen-1080p-FullHD/dp/B003BGKVEU/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1322477318&sr=1-9. For the price your not going to find a TV any better. It has all the up to date futures (except 3D) and has a excellent picture quality.

If you want to spend a bit more money you could go for this stunning Samsung TV. http://www.amazon.co...22470639&sr=1-1

I have the model up from this and it is amazing. I love Samsung TV/Monitors. The are fantastic, always go for a Samsung TV.
