new to sli....am I compatible?

I have a zotac amp! 550 ti

Am I able to pop in another gtx 550 ti? Does it have to be the zotac amped edition? Can it just be another 550? If its possible what effect would it have on graphic performance

In answer to the question, it would be fine, as lons as you have another 550 ti it doesnt matter what brand

No that motherboard does not support SLI.

I just checked, indeed, it doesn't support SLI.
It does support Crossfire-X though.

Yeah I had that board, Couldn't manually set my voltages and the second slot was PCIe 2.0 at x4. Running a second card at x4 is just a waste. Dual cards with the best Motherboard money can buy is horrendous just imagine how it would be at x4.
