New setup, no signal. Please help. :(

Hello everybody,
im testing out a new setup:
Intel DP67BG
i3570k
295GTX

As seen on these two pictures, everything is set including the cables behind gpu: Picture 1
Picture 2

The only thing I know about this setup is that the Motherboard needs a Bios update to run Ivy Bridge, but because I bought it used I do not know which version of Bios it is running which is why im testing it. I figured however that if it ran an old/wrong Bios version, it would simply shut off asap with an Ivy Bridge in it. Everything however runs when I turn it on and doesnt shut off.

What could be the problem?

the first problem is add your photos properly.

You need more info about the board and bios. If youve chucked IVY in it it may not run.

Trying to work out what your problem is with the lack of info its propbably not starting because youve got a CPU in it it doesnt understand......

But would a "wrong" cpu cause no signal what so ever? Shouldnt I at least get some sort of post-bios-whatever screen?

No cause your board would not boot with the 'wrong' CPU in it.

Exactly, thats what I figured. So I assumed it was running the correct bios version since it does boot. Also it cant be bent socket pins cause that would also cause it to not boot... So really, im completely lost.

Download the updated bios from the manufacturers website and put it on a usb and follow the instructions on the website

EDIT: if that doesn't work, i would hope you haven't bent any pins and try and sell your cpu and get the correct one this time

You're going to need a Sandy chip for that mate.

I knew the Mobo needed a Bios update to run Ivy Bridge, I simply figured that if it DIDNT have the update to run Ivy, it would simply not turn on because it would not recognize the CPU. Since it does turn on, I figured it did have the update.

I put the CPU in the right way, no pins bent. Also wouldnt that cause it to simply not boot?

Your assumptions are wrong. The motherboard needs a CPU it recognises to boot. If it doesn't see one, it doesn't boot. Update your BIOS.

But like I already said; it does boot. Theres an on-switch on the motherboard. When I press it, CPU fan and GPU/GPU fan starts spinning. The GPU has all LEDs green, and I dont have any error code on the mini-display.

I tried removing RAM while turning it on, but it was the same... Not even a BEEP or error code, but everything was spinning nontheless.

So long story short: it boots, but no signal. Like you said, I figured it would NOT boot if it did not recognize CPU.

Are there any codes that appear on the mini-display?

It just says "00", I assumed that meant everything is as it should be.
In a PDF file (if I read it correctly), 00 means: Entering SX states S0 to S5.

I have no idea what that means, but I get the impression from various forum posts that 00 means that everything is as it should be.

Put an older CPU in it and it will work. end of thread.

Put in a brand new G465, still no signal. Removed CMOS battery, put it in again, moved the jumpers... No change.

All LEDs are green. It doesnt beep when I have no RAM in, it still turns on. :(

What can I do?
