This one isn´t mine, I can´t modify it and theres no other way of conectin´g those cables (well, now it´s better than in the pictures, but not tu much)

Dat board. So good. I like the hardware specs you're working with, stout rig. Looking forward to seeing it in it's PROPER home with proper cabling x-). I also ditched the balls out of my stock H100i fans... they were ALMOST as noisy as some Thermaltake fans I have sitting around -_-

I bought tons of cable management stuff, although I will probably wont use most of it until I have the 900D.

Sata white sleeve and heatshrink (+ extra black sata sleeve sample)
Black and white seleeve, black pre-cut heatshrink and a couple of red sleeve samples:

Tons of black and 2 tones of blue sleeving
Crimper and pins
Fan and sata power conectors
Diferent sizes of cable holders
Lots of samples more!! (the blue one is sata size)

I wont be using everything xD Most of it is because it was sold in packs bigger than what I needed (example; I need 2 or maybe 3 smalll cable holder and I had to buy a pack of 10) and I thought about using only black and white but later I changed my mind and decided to use black and blue.
So I wont be using any white and I'll have lots of conectors and black sleeve for future projects
I´m planning on painting the fans dark blue, I will post pictures if I´m happy with the result.

well even if you dont like them ... still post them up others might like them, thats what i like about this forum some stuff id love some i wont but it means i can see how its done and hey you may like it anyways 
The fans are alright. I think the color matches the dark blue sleeving nice enough.
Anyway... I´m dropping the project for a month or two
Last night I broke my right hand (and I´m right handed) so theres no way I can do anything for this project until I get better.
At least it happened before the 900D release, it would be a torture being like this with the case lying on the floor

It´s been a long time since I posted here for the last time.
My hand is fully recovered but... I´m dropping the project
The actual Corsair X79 is almost like the last pictures I posted: the cable management looks better but still is very bad, I removed the ODD and HDD cages, the HDD is placed in the bottom of the case, the SSD is on the motherboard tray (but not the way you are thinking), and I removed 2 fans from the H100i (is pull only now).
I won´t be using the Corsair 900D finally.
I had some time to think about my needs and I realized I need a smaller build to be able to move it to a lan party this summer without breaking my back xD and I rather build smaller than going to the gym xD
Anyway the 900D is not for sale yet on my country and neither the new case, so I´ll have to wait a couple of weeks more...
The new build will requiere some modding in the case I´ve choosen and, even it will keep the color scheme and most of the pieces, I think that´s enough reason to give it a new name to the rig and consider it another build.
So I´m clossing this project now and I will start the new one once I get the case.
The pictures will keep looking that bad as I´m still using my phone to make them.
I´m happier with the new idea as the mods I´ll be doing aren´t nothing special but the build will look more unique than simply using expensive hardware in a big case.

c70 could be good for lan gaming ive carried mine back and forth and not had any issues apart from were ive knocked the ODD bays and just had to pop them back out
