New motherboard advice

Well if you've seen my other posts my pc wouldn't start and the MB is faulty its working now but the cpu fan header isnt working and my antec 620 wasnt to blame as it works in my other pc fine.

so now i need to find a new MB no more than £150 good at OC and nice features like fan control and it must hold the voltaged you put in not like my asus which put 1.56v when set to 1.48v in bios that just stupid. I also need one where if i did do crossfire with 2 dual slot gpu's i will still need assess to a pci slot for my tv tuner card.

another question is my antec kept my 1090T cores under 55C when 1.56v were being put through it so its a good performer should i be looking at the cores or the overall cpu temp?

asus croshair iv formular. i dont know about fan control its never a feature i look for. there is a feature in its bios that stablizes the voltage but can cock up some overclocks, the review is on here. somewhere. but it does have a free pci slot in the middle of your gpu cards, it uses pce ports 1 and 3 for xfire

Hi im looking at this board MSI 890FXA-GD70 as i can install 2 gpu dual slots and use the pci slot still something i cant do on the asus.

does this motherboard allow you to regulate the fan speed depending on cpu temps like Q-fan from ASUS.

Also is it a good overclocker?

yea its a good one. you can let it auto overclock for ya but it declocks your ram slightly, i got my cpu set at 3.9ghz atm safe temps and i want it to last a while i got the 965 phen II.

the board is built for overclocking, the pci slot in the middle of my gpus is free.

hmm ok i can consider both prob the asus more cause it looks better i thouht you had to use the first 2 pcie x16 slots for crossfire not the 1st and 3rd one.

I have one issue with ASUS and thats my last board was a Asus and was a piece of something horrible couldnt over clock hit a brick wall at 3.8Ghz and the multi dropped to 8 all the time, i looked around most people said it was the mosfets overheating cause the cpu temp was at least 8c of max temp.

Does this Asus board do that or is it a good over clocker with a stable Voltage control? And it also uses the voltage you set it to as mine if you look at my table in another thread never came out what i was typing in.

ive done my cpu to 3.9 and tested it slightly at 4.2 but i need a nd-h14 to find its limit. its a good overclocker, the voltage is good. i do recomend it. yea i was slightly suprised about the pcie layout but they did really think about airflow and it is is designed to be a oc board. i want to get a 1060t (6 core amd) to play with on here but meh cash lol.

thats the review on here tells your more about the voltage settings.

i do recomend this board ive had no prolems with it up to now and ive been smashing it left right centre and it still asks for more.
