Iv been looking at Bestbuy, futureshop and canadacomputers.

The samsung and the lg stood out to me the most. What are your opinions on these moniters? Oh, and im gonna be getting a 8800gts 640mb once the ATI's come out. Would it be good for that res?

Thanks!

Pesonally I would look for at least 1920x1200 resolution, I know text will be somewhat small, but you can display full 1080P movies and you can never have to much resolution. I think some have HDMI right?

I can vouch for Dell!

Mine came last week and at 1900x1200 is just simply stunning! I'd never go back :worship:

i know its a bit out of your size range but i jsut got a Dell 2407 at 1920x1200.. wow thats all there is to say really... just wow

I have the Samsung SM225BW, and although I am happy with the monitor, there is quite bad light bleed. The 226 is meant to be a lot better!

I`m sure that`s one that Kemp has, I haven`t seen many monitors better than that tbh.

Wow thats big, although i would like it to be that large, i dont wana have to get a GTX.

ALso, i need some cash for Vista.

HDMI is DVI i a nice +sound wrapper so the hdmi>>dvi converters shall work fine hdcp signal flag intact

I really want the 37" westinghouse 1080p lvm-37w3 as my primary monitor... I'm halfway there another couple months of saving up. it just has so many inputs and looks totally sweet.

again another vote for the dell 2407 - ive got one and its brilliant - dont get the dell 22" value monitor - my friend 's got one and in comparison its a bit rubbish. it has white light bleed issues along the bottom edge stopping films looking really crisp making them look grayed out, when I was researching my monitor it schemed that was a fairly common complaint for the 22" er.
