New Members: Post your introduction!

Hey all

Hello everyone,

Thought i should get round to joining a cummunity.

I've been a pc fan boy for quite some time now, probably around the time of the first Half-Life game i think. My first PC was a Fujitsu something and after that i specced and bought a custom PC from Mesh computers to play HL2.

After that i've built two myself. My current rig is running an Asus Z68 Deluxe with a 2600k and recently upgraded 780 Poseiden.
Another push that made me join this community is that my rig has developed a problem. I guess i'll post that in another thread ^_^

Hi guys

Been in to pc's for years n love building my own rigs.

Regularly watching oc3d on YouTube and on Facebook and its because of the guvnors orca build that iv signed up.

I know tom dedicated his orca build to his mum and sadly my mum passed away on the 15th November so my home server/downstairs gaming rig is being dedicated to my mum..she used to moan at me for being on my pc so much when I was a kid so as a comical twist im going to build another rig in a white corsair carbide air 540 with a nice big picture of her on the side panel which means she will always be on my pc too :).
The problem is I am not a modder..I just love building my own pc's and doing them for friends and family so I dont know where the best place is to get my mums picture put on to the side panel..I did want to get in contact with Tom Logan my self but not sure how.
So if anyone can point me in the right direction or atleast some names of quality and trustworthy companies that could help then it would be amazing.
Thanks
Bammage

Hi Folks,

New to the community, just completed my first build and would never have managed to spec it out without all the Guvners reviews and tips and all the discussions on the forums. Here's to many more :D

Intro.

Hi everyone.

I'm completely new to the overclocking process, pc building, etc. I'm an avid gamer, MMOs are my favorite I play all kinds. A good friend of mine referred this community to me. I'm from the states, and I'm about to begin purchasing all the parts I need to build my first desktop. I look forward to talking to as many people as I can in this community and, I apologize ahead of time for my stream of rookie threads/questions that I'll be asking all of you :)

Hi guys,
I watched a lot of OCED youtube videos and finally decided to join the forum.
My name is Denny and I'm from Macedonia.
I like to play games on Steam and Origin in my free time.
I've never overclocked any PC part before and I'm a complete noob in that direction, no matter I've built more than a hundred PC configurations so far.
Today I bought a new MB, CPU and GPU and hoping you'll help me start my baby steps in overclocking.
My current PC configuration is:
MB: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 3
CPU: i5 6600K (I had 4790K and think it was overkill for me as I mostly use it for gaming, so decided to go i5 this time)
Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 240M
RAM: Kingston Savage 3000 (2x8GB Kit) DDR4
GPU: Gigabyte GTX980ti Extreme (GV-N98TXTREME-6GD)
PSU: Cooler Master V1000
SSD: 2x Samsung 850 Evo (thinking of putting them in RAID)
Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper
KB+Mouse: Cooler Master Devastator.
Can you please, point me to some thread links where I should start learning about Skylake K overclocking?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi all,

My name is Ken Byrnes AKA ZenModz. It's my first time here. Ive been a case modder for a bit over 2 years now, still very new to modding but have pick up other skills not PC mod related, that has help me get in to PC modding. From the first mod I did I got hooked, And I'm not holding back on my builds. I don't just Mod PC,s
I would like to think I take them to the next level. I have done all kinds of art for over 35 years. from game design, 2d/3d design and texture art as well as airbrushing, modeling, wood work, metal work. plastic fab. and more.

I hope to get to know you all in time. And I hope I get to bring that Wow factor to your screen.

Cheers, Ken.

PS: I will add some of my work to the Rig Gallery.

Hi everybody Rosco here

My Birthday ended a few hours ago and I was checking my email and received my happy wishes OC3D. I must admit I have not been here in many months but appreciate the reminder that I should be.

I am actually embarking on my first attempt at a custom loop.

Been tinkering for a few years and my latest build (kidney) is reasonably hi end. I.m looking forward to learning and reckon I'll get some sound advice here.

Cheers, Rosco
