New Members: Post your introduction!

Sorry, but how do you post pictures?

You are not able to post pictures or use

I've never been part of a forum before (so noobish) as you can probably tell. I really don't have a clue what your going on about (sorry).

Welcome to the OC3D forums, don't worry to much, it's been one of those days that's gotten a bit too silly.

Posting a new thread is pretty dramatic so I'll just post in here instead!

My name is Oliver and I've been into performance hardware since around 2004 when I decided I wanted to play Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter but my onboard graphics didn't support transform and lighting (TnL). Since then I've mostly always been an ethusiast without breaking the bank, often resorting to buying used parts to keep my PC relevant for playing the latest titles well.

I decided to join this forum because I really enjoy watching the OC3D YouTube channel and the fact that Tom is a Brit like myself influenced my decision too.

Anyway, there's my brief intro and I hope to maybe contribute to the forum as best I can.

Cheers.

Mr. new guy

Hi all.

I hope to indulge my self in all the wisdom you guy's have to offer and in time shed some of my own into the vast knowledge base of OC3D. I am not new to computers, i am how ever new to the modding side of them, that is to say i have since my first computer(a pentium 233mHz) put them together on my own. But my first actual modding only toke place this year as i just recently sleeved some of my cables.

Well that is enough for now and i will be sharing my specs later since it is getting pretty late :)

Hello guys, thought I would make my first post to say hi to everyone.
Learning a lot of new stuff and will be asking for peoples advise as soon as I can afford to upgrade my AMD 965 black edition. My budget will only be about £250 but I already have 2 SSDs (840 evo 256gb) a GTX 670 and a OCZ 500w psu also i have a corsair H70. I can hold out for a month or so yet though so I will make a post in the right section closer to the time.

Arh a fellow Derbyshire chap or chappet, the most important thing here, and when I say it, mark my words because I really really mean it.... ready? Get rid of that OCZ PSU!!! It's a ticking time bomb, and it WILL take your hardware with it when it pops. We have a strong hatred for them here, even stronger hatred now after mine blew 2 weeks ago.

Glad to have you on board enjoy your stay.
