I actually just posted in the New builds forum looking for advice! I listed my current build there as well. And Puck was a nickname I got back in High school, I just couldn't think of anything creative as a username. As far as a Shakespearean reference goes... nope... Although, that would have been clever.

After lurking and gorging on all the news and updates here I've decided to post.

I've spent many years using 2nd hand gear from family and friends to keep my Frankenputer ticking over but have recently gone and started to build new.

Overclock3d has been a great help and is the reason I've used the CM Storm Stryker as the basis for my new rig.

Now, I'm not clued up (or brave) enough yet to start with that watercooled business so I went the easy route and strapped a H80i to my CPU.

Anyhooo - I hope to get more involved in the threads so might chat with some of you soon.

I've a CM Storm Stryker (after seeing TTL's review) with an i5 running at 4.2 being cooled by a H80i.

GPU is a Zotac GTX780 AMP! Edition with 3GB.

hello all, new here today, not got a particularly good system (yet *evil laugh*) but soon enough i shall slowly begin upgrading, first the move from DDR2 to DDR3 xD . not sure why i didn't make an account here sooner but hay ho im here now :3

Hello everyone. Have a semi old system but I love it!
ASUS Rampage II
16gb 2133Mhz ram (not running at 2133Mhz lol) got it for £30 so can't complain
Intel I7 920 stock
2 x 1TB HDD in Raid 0
1 x 60GB Kingston V300
and my latest addition a Powercolor AMD Radeon R9 290
Will be upgrading stuff closer to winter but at the moment the system is doing me fine!

Yes I have my GPU maxes out at 75C and my CPU hits 45C max

I just hate having only 2GB of VRAM on my video card
