hi peeps

cgull here, moniker given to me by an aussie rules team mate way way back ..something to do with my love of chips and possibly my running style.
joined forum a while back but havent been active,drawn initially by ttl vids..long, funny and REAL informative..is the mobo removeable?
I'm a bit of a modder, painted some case, drilled and dremelled etc..
not flush with cash so i improvise and make do..my 9yr old calls me the computer rescuer..fix pc's and will retrieve cases people have tossed out.
currently rebirthing a compaq 5000 matx..hopefully do my first worklog ..need to get those photographic skills up..
also want to get my first w/cool setup in the not too distant future..ttl's been huge inspiration..

Hi to everyone. Been watching Tom's youtube channel now for most of the year and thought its about time i got my arse in gear and joined oc3d to say thanks for the work he does as its made my choice in buying components far easier. So thanks mate!
 
hi guys, I've never really had an incentive to sign up to forums but i think i could learn a lot on here. I don't have an amazing PC, in fact i have a really bad laptop, but i have acquired a large amount of knowledge over the last 3 years that i have been interested in high end computers. I probably wont ever be able to buy my own PC until i finish school and start working due to my lack of funds but in the mean time i can dream.

Greetings everybody! The reason why i am here is quite obvious, i assume. I am also new here on these forums and while i have been checking out some threads, i was quite amused. Most people are nice and informative and willing to help. Hope you guys can help me along the way aswell. ^^
I am not a genius when it comes to computers, i know enough to get me through most things, but when it comes to specs and such, i usually will have to search that stuff up or ask someone else.
