Hey, JT here, new to oc3d. found yall by searching for a teamspeak server and is the main reason for my joining.
To let you know about myself, Im 29, have run a tech biz for about 3 years, Ive probably built over 500 computers, built my first pc at 14, but surprisingly for as much as Ive done, ive only recently gotten into modding and liquid cooling, so Id like to learn more about that.
My current PC is built in a Lian Li Tu200 case, which is about a 1 ft tall ITX case and one of the smallest cases you can put a 2 din GPU in with room for a 120mm radiator.
i7 3770k
128gb samsung ssd
2tb hdd
asus p8z77-i deluxe mb
2133 2x4gb ram
gtx 670
zalman ultimate liquid kit for cpu.
in place of the cd drive i have a dual bay, 1x3.5 and 1x2.5, hdd swap bay. (basically a box I can quickly repair any worst case scenario pc problem with, and is a super gamer)
My future plans are to mod the liquid kit and gpu to extend the cooling system,, or go to a complete custom liquid setup for cpu and gpu.
several fans have been replaced for better ones currently is silent except when gaming and gpu never over 65c after a while.
cpu ocd to 4.8 stable @ 40c load.
Anyways, I am here to be a nerd, and to do some nerd talk and look forward to meeting like minded people who simply enjoy the talk.
Not to mention, I like helping and sharing information, which I have plenty of. But, I prefer to talk so, here is hoping i run into people on TS.

Hi all,i'am new to this but after paying though the nose for many years thinking i was getting the top end computers i have finally decided to bulid my own rig! So with your help i'am sure it should be doddle.
I'am into flight sims so will be aiming at having a rig that can handle this + be as future proof as much as possible.
My starting point will be a Corsair Carbide 5OOR which i all ready have.
Asus Sabertooth X79 Intel X79 DDR3 SLI Crossfire ATX Motherboard - Socket 2011
Intel Core I7 3820 Overclocked to 4.2Ghz Quad Core CPU Processor - BX80619I73820 - Socket 2011
Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600MHz RAM Memory
I can get this bundle for about £600 so would this be a good start?
Graphics and cooling? i'am thinking of going for a H100 and maybe a invida gtx670
No doubt you will see me on once the build starts and i get stuck.
