Hello to all at the Overclock3D forums. I've come over here after watching a few of Tom's videos on Youtube - very informative, and I like the style in which they are presented.
I love all things computers and have built two in the past. The last was in 2006, however, and my highly nomadic lifestyle of late has forced me into using a notebook (Macbook 2007 model) and a Mac Mini. Every so often, however I get the itch to build again and launch into a flurry of research to see what's out there and what sort of rig I could reasonably build.
Hopefully will get two rigs built this year, one a SFF PC on a m-ITX motherboard for the girlfriend and one later on in the year built around a Core i7 950 or whatever flavour of SB chip is hovering around that price point when the time comes.
Though I am currently in Australia on holiday, I am based in the UK am looking at the news on all the snow. Glad I'm missing that!
