New Members: Post your introduction!

Hi everyone,

I'm from Australia. I've been bumped into these forums several times when googling some computer queries. The answers were very helpful, and indeed took part in giving me some courage to build my own system. I thought I'd join the forum, as I do seem to access this place alot - only not to post . . . which might change :P

Finally, I'm rather surprised (and pleased) that my username was not taken by anybody yet.

Hey, I am Tecchie (Xbox Live Gamertag Tecchie) and I have been comming to this site for a very long time (many years) and I just kinda sit behind the scenes watching as to why I don't have any posts.

Hi All,

I'm a chef by trade....been everything from dishwasher to executive head chef. Now trying to start up my own catering company (functions/banquet/theme dinners). Lost 95% of my hearing in seven hours (literally overnight!) six years ago which forced me out of the restaurant biz.

Started building computer systems and OC'ing/troubleshooting friends computers to keep me busy during down time. Rehabilitating at the moment as I just underwent (very successful) cochlear implant surgery- plenty of down time so I thought I'd join some new forums and see If I couldn't help solve some problems for people online, and maybe pick up some valuble tips as well.

I studdy ATM to i dont realy have a big wallet and saving for my first rig. Yea, don´t rely have mutch to say but if you wounder anything feel free to ask ;)
