Afternoon!

I'm a noob to the forum. Stumbled across this site recently when researching water cooling.

How are you all?

I am Maju - it's good to be here

Hello all

Have been getting the introduce yourself notice for a few days now so here Iam.

Known on the forums as Maju and here is my computer in its previous incarnation

I have a feeling that I shall be residing here a fair bit in the near future as I am currently in the middle of a major upgrade.

The photo is of what I have done to my Cosmos RC1000 so far.

I've recently been purchasing the stuff that I need to go water cooled and I shall post up a worklog of what I am doing in a little while.

Unfortunately I found out just after i'd bought my kit that after 25 posts you can get 10% at WCUK so i'll be aiming to reach that target quite soon as i've got more stuff to buy.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem as i'm sure i'll have many questions along the way and I look forward to hearing your advice and opinions on what to do and how to do it.

Anyway, Hello. It's good to be here and thanks for the forums which have helped me greatly already.

Cheers

Hi,

I am considering OC as a solution. I have never OC'd. The issue is non multithreading graphics CAD/CAM software which runs way too slow. What I am hoping is that I can find some one with the following system specifications who would be willing to run a very specific benchmark test using the CAD/CAM software. I am willing to pay for the time involved to do this. It takes approximately 1 hour to load the software, run the automated benchmark test, and then remove the software. I will provide the software on CD which will run only in demonstration mode for the benchmark.

Computer requirements:

1. Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 Processor

2. Intel X48, Socket 775 Mother Board FSB 1600MHz or better

3. Corsair Dual Channel 2048MB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB) or better.

If you have the above system components and are willing to do this please let me know how to contact you.

If there is a more appropriate place to post this request please let me know.

Thanks for this forum!

Hello Diablo

Thanks. You should see it at the moment. In bits once again but like the pheonix it shall rise again reborn. Or is it the bionic man - bigger, better, faster, stronger. We have the technology:)

Busy cutting acrylic whilst it's not too late but will get some pics up later.

Cheers

Be nice to see the pics m8. Wish I could get born again, my case and components are getting a bit long in the tooth as well! ;)

LOL love to take the credit for Maju's work m8 but in all fairness I can't. This kind of modding is way be beyond me, so credit where credit is due. It is a nice job Maju has done though isn't it.
