Good day chaps and chapettes,

Most of my computers have the primary function of running distributed computing projects. Currently have two K9A2s with 4x8800GS/9600GSO in each and two quad socket boards with 4x8346HE Opterons each. Also have a couple of motherboards and large heap of 775 CPUs which I bench on dry ice on the rare occasion that I have spare time and know about it in advance, but I tend not to submit to HWBot.

Hello there people, well from first impressions its very good to see such a large community of active overclockers.

From seeing Tom's video's on youtube, he persuaded me to come and have a look at his site, and I have to say I'm very impressed.

Currently I am running;

EVGA 4 Way SLi Motherboard

GTX 480

Thermaltake 1500w PSU

6GB 2000MHz G.Skill Ram

Corsair H70 CPU Cooler

I have been overclocking for a couple of years now, and enjoy modding not just my own computer but also my friends

Hey there, I'm as it seem many are(very encouraging btw) new to the whole overclocking and modding thing so I hope your forgive my ignorance while I learn:P. I'm currently in the process of totally rebuilding my pc(started of thinking I'll just replace some RAM. Now I'm currently planning to replacing pretty much everything but the cpu lol). I hope to learn and if I can teach(In the no doubt distance future:P) here so hi guys

Hey everyone on Overclock3d, I’ve been following the videos on youtube for quite some time now, and I really like the in depth details they offer. Keep up the good work!

I have some overclocking experience, but I am “struggling” to find a good 4GHz clock. So after spending days on google, I thought, now is the time to ask some experts for help

I’d like to push my system. That said I’m a noise freak, so if it’s not close to silent when say browsing the web, it’s not going to work for me – of course when gaming it can be as loud as it will im not gonna notice

But enough about me, just wanted to give a shutout, and a thanks for gr8 videos.

Hello everyone on OC3D

taking the plunge and moving away from the "Mac" and building my 1st gaming rig and also looking to overclock at some stage. Found this site after looking at the vids on youtube and was inspired to join, glad I took the plunge as there is a wealth of info in the reviews, editorials and forum so give yourselves a pat on the back.

p.s. have not yet bought the parts for rig (they're sitting in overclockers uk basket) but wondering if it's worth holding out for the 1155 socket mobo's and appropriate chipsets? currently looking at getting 1156 mobo with i5 760 see sig
