See its the opposite for me. My phone having MP3 is more of a novelty for me cause i have never used it  . Pointless feature to me cause i have an ipod for that lol. To each his own though :D

yea i bought my blackberry pearl and that i would use the mp3 on it, but, the inferface isn't that good, and i wana keep the battary life longer, so ill carry my pod around with 5k songs on it :D

Meh looks cool but I gave my nano to my brother. My phone = pwnage. Upgradeable storage, replaceable battery, Windows media player, all the songs and movies I need =]

*and it has stereo speakers to play without earbuds =]

My microphoto sucks at times (creative...) but id never go ipod due to basically how mainstream it is (cant see why, the audio reproduction is worse than creative by far)

Anyone got a Zune?

Think i will stick with my zen vision m 60gb tbh, doubt i will ever go near an ipod again after owning my zen

ie=ipod,zen=ff :luvff: :p

I dont like Zens, the sound isn't better than an iPod.

But then I like iTunes and think iPods are nicer to use than Zens

That depends on what kinda sound your looking for really,i find the bass and low freqs are better than an ipod.

the customisable eq is good too.

and most people interested in their sound will buy a good set of earphones as well so the sound isn't necessarily any worse than an ipod tbh, unless you compare with the supplied earbuds.

but it all comes down to what style of music you listen to when it comes to the sound quality, some will sound better on one than the other.

Raging.

Do ipods actually support mp3 cause itunes (dont like that program either) seems to convert all my mates music (that i now have) to .m4a

Audio formats supported: AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV

From apple lol

the new touch is sexual and i reckon i'll be having one of those just for the convenience.... whoever said iPods sound bad... thats not entirely true or false.. iPods with the included headphones are a complete pile of

, iPods with a nice pair of sennheiser in-ear buds are just amazing. its a shame the included headphones can't handle the volume above around 85~90%ish and distort whereas the sennheiser ones are just.. well.. sweet as!

ps someone buy me a touch!

I'm very undecided on the touch... Seems like it would be cool just because of the features and touch screen. But ime still trying to decide if it is practical or not. I'm either buying the Touch or the Nano on Saturday morning. Any thoughts? Lol i need to be swayed
