I've been thinking of upgrading for a while.
I just got a new HD7950 from aria and am now looking at upgrading the whole system with a new build (new case etc)

Components I already have:

2TB SATA HDD
650W Coolermaster 80plus PSU

EK CoolStream XT 360 Radiator
EK CoolStream XT 240 Radiator
DDC-1T+ 18W
XSPC Restop

New Components:

Case: undecided but might do a full mod style (will tie in with water or air cooling)
Cooling: Coolermaster 212+ or Watercooling with new tubing

I've been looking around at different cases and am probably going to make my choice on whether I am going to watercool or aircool the components :D
I have a Lian-Li midi tower to put the components in for now while I work on modding new case.

Also would be interested if anyone has the Samsung Green DDR3 RAM as I've read differing reviews about it.
Really don't know about what the best SSD is at the moment either

Best ssd? well speed wise...
Samsung 840 pro, Corsair nuetron GTX(240gb), Plextor m5 Pro/Extreme, and OCZ vector 4(i do not reccomend them) Kingston HyperX or HyperX3k. I may have missed some but these are what i would say are best:)

You want a case that can support a 360/240 rad? Nzxt Switch 810, 800D, New Fractal Design XL2(not relased yet but it should) or a Nzxt 820... Not very many out there can support them unfortunatly:p

Caselabs cases can support 4 480/420mm rads if interested:)

The MSI Z77 G45 is better than the Gigabyte board dude. They should be right around the same price but the MSI has a much higher spec :)

I will look into that motherboard :)

I think it was on aria but I can't find it now, maybe they just sold out tho.

I was looking at the intel ESD AES SSD's a while ago (for laptop) but I read the AES encryption isn't implemented very well :(
The Samsung and Corsair drives look ok tho.
I've also read about a lot of people having problems with OCZ drives.

I'm also thinking about maybe getting 16GB of RAM as I run VMs for testing in linux and they can eat up a lot of memory

16gb of ram should be fine but i would not go above 2133mhz speed. Samsung 840 pro has 256bit AES encryption and works very well and also the fastest ssd on the market.

MSI has the best z77 mothoerboards on the market. The Mpower z77 board is the best OC board out there and far cheaper than ASUS rog mobos. The G45 that AleinALX has pointed out should be perfect for you:)

I'd agree on the Z77A-G45 and the Switch 810.
Other alternatives are the Bitfenix Shinobi XL, the Phantom 630/820 and the CM Storm Stryker/Trooper (with modding required). The Corsair 650d might also do, though I'm not sure it'll fit the CoolStream XT radiator in the top.
SSD wise, the Samsung 840 series is fine, though the Write speed seems to be horrible. Alternatives are the 840 Pro, the Neutron GTX and the Crucial M4.
Cheers mate and I wish you luck with your coming build :)
