Hey guys,

It has been a while since i posted anything, but i had been watching all of TTL's videos, no worries there.

Just a quick recap of my latest update.

Switched from dual ATI 5770s in crossfire to a single GTX 570.

I must say, i am glad i did, this card runs great. It is a Gainward GTX 570 GLH edition, with dual cooling fans and 800 core with 1600 memory.

My 5770s over clocked to 960 core each is getting either beaten or seriously eaten up by that one GTC 570.

I had never seen Unigen benchmark run so smoothly before.

Reason why i switched to NVIDIA, is frankly that i had enough driver updates and issues with AMD/ATI.

Boy am i glad i switched, now i see a boost in all games, and up to 16x AA on some games and the card still pumps out 70+ FPS.

Green team FTW this time guys, and im happy.

yeah I switched to nvidia with the 560Ti series and all I can say is OMFG!!!!! but I do see some tearing in game play need to sort it out but even with it doing that its still alot better than my old ATI card.

What tearing up gameplay issues you have?

I made absolutely sure that the ATI drivers were uninstalled before switching off the PC and installing the new card (physically). I even used driver cleaner to remove any related to the ati drivers.

The smoothness, is just a whole different experience. Even when i see 25 FPS on unigen with 8xaa, 1920x1080 and extreme tessellation, low FPS but zero chopping and no "slow down" like that of ati.....

just every now and then I get what I refer to as tearing its like a line across the screen wish I had a pic of it but it happens so fast that I can never snap it. plus I get the occasional freeze in game. Playing crysis for both issues. I havent noticed it at all in BF BC2. Might be my oc as well since I get the freeze. I'll have to tinker with it and see whats up.

oh and I am on AMD system so there are still some drivers lol. But when I switched to the Nvidia card I did a complete reinstall as I changed alot of other parts as well.

It has nothing to do with your graphicscard, it's your screen.

If you've got a 60Hz screen, the screen updates 60 times a second vs your computer might pump out 120 FPS, so imagine there's 2 frames in every update, when you get an screenrefresh at the same time your computer switches image there's a tare. This is normal.
