I had 2 r9280x@s in x-fire and when they were working the performance in bf4 was amazing, they were the sapphire dual-x oc cards but they both turned out to be broken, so they have just gone back and I was refunded. I like you just don't know what to do.

Silicon lottery is not always kind to everybody. Just get unlucky sometimes but nothing to get upset about as long as you get everything sorted.

Go for Evga 780 SC ACX or Evga 780 FTW ACX ?

Not sure whats the benefit of spending more on "FTW"

higher out of the box clock, go for the cheaper one.

Yeah, grab the cheaper variant.

I would grab the SC aswell. Not worth spending extra on a higher "out of the box" frquency which you will achieve by overclocking anyway i think/hope.

Got the Classified version, there was a sale on .…co.uk, 439 is not the end of the world.


Got delivery from overclockers.co.uk, open the box - 280x not my Evga... Not need to send 280x and AFTER they will get it, evga will be send to me ....
