Mx518, good mouse for not all that much, been using one for 7 or so months and im very happy with it, when my old microsoft sidewinder x8 died i was thinking about buying another one but decided to try the mx518 and im pretty glad i did, personaly its much better and was £35 cheaper.

also has dpi changing that you can disable iirc and a change current window button for within windows that you can disable aswell iirc.

I just got mine, absolutely lovely. That is of course if you wanted to stay with Razer and not go elsewhere. Ignore the free Tshirt bit you won't get one. Obvious screw up their end.

Also, Alienware were doing the TACTX mouse for £41.99 free del. It's basically a Logitech clone of a £90 mouse. Can't remember the exact model now though.

HTH

I still say the Cooler Master Mouse is one of the nicest Ive used but my day to day mouse is the good old logi G9

Just checked and the TACTX is the G9x with a very slightly different shell and changable light schemes.

Sadly Dell seem to have reramped the price back to £60. There are a couple on Ebay though.

Roccat Kone

Any good then? I remember reading about how excellent they were a couple of years ago but then noticed that complaints about the scroll wheel breaking were coming in the letters after the review.

To be fair to Roccat they did respond immediately and RMAd all of them.

Depends on the kind of mouse you want. If you want a full palm mouse, a G9 is really bad. Its fine if you want to have half your hand on it, and use your fingers.

Razer Deathadder 3500dpi, nuff said. /thread

Had a MX518 not too long ago and glad I switched, DA is so much more responsive and comfy.

If you are left handed Razer DeathAdder for lefties. It is absolutely lovely, I am currently it. if you are right handed, just go for regular DeathAdder.

Then regular DeathAdder it is. I play quite a lot of CS:S and I find it perfect, I am using only 1 side button but it fits perfectly under my thumb. I went through quite a lot of mouses and this is by far best experience ever.

Thanks for giving me suggestion guys. I'm thinking either going with razer deathadder 3500 dpi or the coolermaster ones

Just to ammend this. I wasn't going to say anything to Overclockers because I just figured they had made a mistake with the Tshirt bit and it would be a bit soddish to complain when you just got a £99 mouse for £35.

However I did fire them an email to tell them about it and said maybe they should change the listing on their site.

Apparently I was supposed to get a Tshirt and it is being mailed to me :)

So top marks from OCUK. I shall don my 'Losing SUCKS' Tshirt with pride :D

I just bought the coolermaster CM Storm mouse and got rid of a razor copperhead. The best move I ever made when a mouse is concerned. The functionality and the customization you can do is awesome. I am with TinyTom's comment, go the coolermaster.

I had the Logitech 518 as well, nice bulky mouse with a few buttons; worked lovely too. Then I got myself the Razer DeathhAdder (as said by previous members too :D) and I've loved it ever since!

Brilliant mouse with easy to use software for your personal performance needs.

DA FTW! :D

And you don't even need the software to switch profiles as you have a button on the bottom of the mouse for that. ;) DA FTW Fo SHO. :P

The Razer Deathadder is amazing :)

I have a 1800dpi one and it is just the best mouse I've ever used (previously had Razer Diamondback, Logi MX-500, Microsoft Intelli Pro V2, Logi MX-310, Boomslang 1000)

Not sure I'd need more than 1800dpi @ 1000Hz tho :D
