New CPU cooler?

Hey there guys

just wanted some input from you guys and what your opinions are on what CPU cooler i should purchase?

I'm not looking to go into full water cooling, but im thinking of purchasing the corsair h100i, or if there is something almost as equal that's cheaper would be pretty nice aswell, i personally don't mind running air cooler either, i was also looking into the Noctua NH-D14, but yeah unfortunately can't make up my mind

Now what im currently doing with my cpu is gaming, not really doing rending or graphics design or any of that, just gaming, facebook probably will never really get into rending or anything like that anyways

got my CPU currently on 4.2ghz overclocked

Current CPU i have is the i5 2500k

Current CPU cooler i have is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

temps are fine, playing battlefield 3 its at about 55c - 60c or so

idle temps are roughly around about 39 degrees,

have not done prime95 test as don't really see much point at the moment to do it

My PC specs:

Fractal Design R4

i5 2500k

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

MSI z77 mpower

16GB G.Skill Ares 1866 mhz

SLI 660ti

Coolmaster 1000w silent pro gold PSU

so yeah thoughs are my PC specs, so what do you guys recommend?

with r4 it would be quite hard to fit a h100i rad in there without any modding and difficulties.

i dont have r4 so i have no clue on clearance but from the looks of it, it can probably only fit a 240 slim rad.

cm212 is certainly not good enough to run a 2500k oc.

I'd recommend either a 140mm rad on the back, silver arrow(assuming you have clearance), bequiet dark rock 2

OR if you do have enough space and dont want a water loop then NHD14

The Thermalright Silver Arrow is currently the best cooling wise. The Noctua NH-D14, Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 and Phanteks PH-TC14PE are all great too. Then there's the closed loop coolers as well.
