New Case, Which fans will work best?

Hi everyone,

I have finally decided to get rid of my fan assisted oven (NZXT H440) and get something that can breath. I just right now bought the Corsair 400c and I am looking for advice regarding the best fans for the job without creating excessive noise.

Right now in the H440 I have 3x Noctua NF-12's in the front and 1x NF-12 rear exhaust all using the LNA's. I have a Corsair H110i GT (exhaust) in the roof with 2x NF-A14 PWM controlled using Corsair Link.

I intended to put the H110i in the front of the Corsair 400c with 2 NF-12's top exhaust and 1x NF-12 rear exhaust so, would be better to swap out the NF-12's for NF-S12A's or stick with the SP fans?

Edit: So what I am basically asking is: If I have my radiator in the front, should I have air flow or static pressure fans in the top and rear as exhausts?

Thanks.

So, I went ahead with testing it out.
It didn't matter if the fan was static pressure or airflow. Neither affected the temps inside the case better than the other. My advise is just use what you have or prefer!

Now, as for the case (Corsair 400c). I seriously suggest you give it some serious thought before buying it. I have never been so frustrated when building a PC. There are so many design flaws that just infuriated me at various stages of the build.

Great looking case but not worth all the compromises you have to make. I may go into this in further detail but not in this section.
