Update long overdue.
To catch you up to speed....
The RAM I received was bad, which I determined after about a week of testing (well it felt like a week). I ordered another kit and it is in and working great.
So far everything on the bench is working great, albeit a bit hot at times^^ Had to rig up a "side fan" which helps.

With the build, the major hold ups are the blocks. Daz Mode refunded my money for the Aquacomputer aquagrATIx block which was great. Those guys over there at DazMode are terrific to work with. AquaComputer on the other hand...has not refunded me for the Cuplex Kryos block nor the other aquagrATIx block. I've spoken to them sever times and they have been timely with replies. On November 30th the RMA department told me the blocks had been "received and should be processed in a few days." I sent them an email on the 8th and have yet to hear from them.
This has been the main hold up. I am waiting to make sure I get refunded until I make another purchase (nothing from Aquacomputer). I am trying to get my hands on some Heatkiller blocks. They are supposed to be producing a special black/nickel edition and I am trying to have those special ordered. I think I've decided to do all Heatkiller but EK on the board.
In the meantime I have been planning the case setup, cable management and the loop. But it's been the little things that have been really taking up time. The spacing between certain parts is tighter than I'd like and was having serious doubts about my intended setup. One solution lead to another set of problems and so on. Well here some pics which I'm sure are more interesting than my ramblings.
I sorted out the radiators on the roof. I ordered some Yate Loons that are 20mm and not the standard 25mm. They fit puuurfectly allowing me to do push/pull.

This makes me happy.
One of the problems I've had is setting up the PSU side. The side mounted radiator is a great idea but is making causing more than a few issues. One has been trying to fit the hard drive cage on top. It's hard to tell in this photo but I had to be pretty creative to get everything bolted in and looking right.

It's hard to tell but the radiator sits very tightly under the hdd cage. I had to do some real finagling to get them in there.
This means I'll be able to get the maximum number of fans given my plans for the loop, but I can't just take things in and out while building--once they are in, they are in.
This is a nice surprise.

This little gap means a whole lot.

It means that I'll be able to conveniently slip these air filters in--something I was fearing might not be so easy.
Here is the underside of the case.

Those two Gentle Tyhpoons depended on how well the hdd cage got along with that rad. Now that they are close friends I can get two fans on the bottom of the PSU side.

Don't laugh but here's me setting up the loop in my mind and trying to figure out what kind of fittings i'll need and how many.

The one thing I've realized is just how tight things will be inside. Believe it or not but even with this case I am going to have real issues fitting my hands inside let alone tubing, not to mention managing those cables. It will be interesting.
Finally, here she is with the bare bones thrown in for kicks.

I have a ton to do, even before the block situation sorts itself out. The major thing is the sleeving which, I haven't seriously been able to make progress on. Cheers all and more pics coming soon.
