These things look so badass on top, but I have some bad news...The extended roof is 85mm tall but the fit is JUUUUUST a bit too tight to fit over a 60mm rad and my 25mm AP-15s.

Strikes n' gutters...

There is some good news however.

I will be able to fit the HDD cage up top with fan mounted on the rad, and some room to spare. This is great because it opens up the first two spots on the floor of the PSU side for fans. Originally I thought I would only have room for one.

Not much going on atm on the mobo side.

The spacing is tight behind the mobo and the rad. About 35mm from the fan to the tray and 55mm from the ports to the tray. It's manageable but I think I have a creative solution that may make things easier and look better....

I am in the throws of trying to figure out how to route my loops/loop, but as much as I like the idea of two loops, I think I've decided on a single with pumps in series on the res.

I have much to do--more later. cheers

I must be the only one who isnt a fan of the cAse labs. It does have features that i like dont get me wrong. I love the hdd cage an the click panels. But its def gonna be interesting to see what goes inside to make use of 3x360 rads im only using 2 and need 30 fittings maybe more if i decide to wc the mb. But flip you can fit some gear in this thing.

Waiting on sleeving and some spare parts from caselabs which should be here early next week, but the sleeving is gonna be a while since its coming from overseas. In a complete dilemma about my loop and how it is going to work out but that is a ways away. Here are a couple of random pics to hold you over. Should have some more pics soon.

I think they are the opposite way round on mine, but I've never used this kind before and I haven't even hooked them up yet. I've been meaning too but haven't turned my bench rig off in a while (I've been known to plug n' play with it on before

)--so busy with work lately I haven't had time.

just took a look and the hdd/rst is definitely wired open on mine the other has a pin out I've not seen b4

@SparkleDJackson

yeah the pwr switch is NC and the reset switch is the momentary and is wired NO

i'm loving these switches though.

i've just gotten some CASELABS accessories if you want to see pics of those mb i'll put them in the case to check them out and take some, as boring they may be.

On another note, I need some advice. I'd like to add some more of these switched to my case. I want to be able to turn the LEDs on and off while my PC is running. (LED hooked up to the switch, fan to the controller). If anyone has any pointers before I start tearing fans apart^^ I'd rather not get some clear framed, non-LED fans and drill some LEDs in to make it work but we'll see.

More to come later.

You are a superstar mate. Cheers. I even email aquatuning where i got them from and all they said was we have som pre wired switches arriving in a month. Hahaha

If you're in the states try frozencpu.com, they have a bunch in stock

Cheers for the advise but im a uk resident so it specialtech aquatuning or watercooling uk for me so im gonna test and see if 3.3v gives me enough brightness or not. If so im gonn have to find somewhere that does the sizes and colours i want. I also need to score a bitspower sponsorship lol so im gonna have to start my build log into gear and make it super bad ass like kosovars sleeving etc. That dude has mad skills with crimping pliers

BOOM!

Never used G.Skill but my Mushkin kit that I wanted was sold out when I was making the clicks. I always thought G.skill was kind of a stupid name and was overly flashy but these don't look too bad, plus they will go with the rest of the build. 7-8-7-24 1.6V ftw.

A few "certainties": This build is going to be slow going. This will be an all AMD build, so I'll probably be waiting for Bulldozer to hit....

Ok, so I lied
unsure.gif
, but After seeing some of the Bulldozer reviews, I couldn't justify not going with a core i5/i7. It's too bad because I was really looking forward to playing around with AMD setup for the first time--sorry AMD--still a fanboy but can't buy your product this time.

Anyway, I will be throwing this on my bench later tonight and test it up and down. Maybe tomorrow I will feed it to the M8 and see what it looks like.
