yeah i think i will do the 7600 sli , but i was reading a forum and said sli is not worthed unless you play high res is that true?

Meh, it depends. What res do you play at? I think SLI is worth it though if you don't wanna fork money for an expensive card. It's not a bad option, and either way it will work for your needs. I think that's kinda bs what you heard tbh but I may be wrong...

instead of sli what about a single 8800gts/gtx?

will be more future proof and not too much extra $$ if any if your gonna get 2 7 series cards

i was thinking bout that but i wasnt planning to buy an 8800 gtx and put it in that system but i was gonna buy a quad core and a 8950gx2 if they ever come out

That's about £80? The 8800gtx is a beast - but ati's r600, out in March, has already taken the performance crown...

Why not wait? March isn't far away, once the ati's are out 8800's will inevitably drop in price, then you can decide what you want to do... Now is not the time, soon dx9 cards will be dirt cheap and you will have a better choice of dx10 cards at a better price.
