New BF3 Patch

So everyone the new BF3 patch is out and what are your opinions of it, I think the lag is now worse than ever and it seems like a typical Dice patch it's broken more than its fixed but maybe it just needs to settle down whats your thoughts?

Hahaha - It keeps saying people (including you) have signed in...
Then I look and I have 4 friends, all offline...

It says:
We're currently looking into issues with the Origin friends list. Your friends list might be empty while we work on sorting out the problems. If you are unable to join games after the patch: Right click BF3 in Origin and choose “Repair install” to fix the problem.

So it should be getting fixed

i keep restarting becaus my game wouldnt open, but repairing it now.. but im still not buying a new bf game

good choise, i played it before bf3 but i lost my cdkey when my power went off while updating windows and all i had was a screenshot of it

Patch is working fine for me, in fact, I have less lag and stuttering than I did before it.

I love that helis have been nerfed no more air rape from those. Haven't tried any of the weapons that have been affected by the patch yet but i'll give them a go later i'm enjoying sniping at the moment so looks like the JNG 90 first.

Same old DICE though, they can't fix or do anything without screwing up something along with it.

Just watched this video here, all the things I'm seeing that they changed seem alright to me. Like how they merged Battlelog and Origin, keeps things simpler that way. Wish I could test it out right now but why does the patch have to be more than 2 gigs! Come on!

Just a quick FYI to all the people with a Russian version of the game, the chances are you will get a black screen when trying to play

Haven't played in about four days. Trying to cut down on BF3 now and play other games, but I will try and play tomorrow since the new patch is out

same old same old apparently iron put glitches which i don't think exists but the cheeky bugers they take off burst mode for most of the automatic assault rifles that had it and have they actually fixed the AUG's smoke launchers glitch i haven't bought close quaters

You have to download it if you want to play, so I would say so

Yeh - doesnt exactly cost anything
So yeh, it probably is worth the 20mins(?) download time

If the download only takes you 20 minutes, then I need to figure out where to get internetz like yours!

Haha - It took me ages - but I have terrible internet compared to half the people on here. I'd have thought people on fibre could do it in times around that?

A little bit of math tells me that if the download takes 20 mins, then your download speed is around 1.85MB/s, which is really good. I got a little less than half that.
