Hi Guys,
So i have just finished building my new rig and am now looking to overclock the machine. I am totally new at overclocking can someone please help me. What do i need to do and how do i determine the best overclock for my needs. System specs are below.

Regards

Antec DF 85 Case
Thermaltake 1200w Gold 80+ PSU
Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2 Motherboard
Intel Core i7 3820 (3.6Ghz 10MB L3 Cache)
Corsair H80 Liquid Cooler
Corsair Force 3 120GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR3 (10-10-10-27)
Sapphire Radeon HD5700 Graphics Card (Being upgraded to Gigabyte HD7970 OC 3GB DDRG5)
3x Western Digital 3TB HDD’s

1200w psu? :L

Anyway try this

BCLK: 125
Multiplier: 37
Memory is set to 1666Mhz with 9-9-9-27
Vcore: 1.36v
VTT CPU Voltage: 1.125v
Second VTTCPU: Auto
CPUVCCSA Voltage: Auto
DRAM Voltage on both Channels: 1.5
CPU PLL Voltage: 1.81250
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled

DIGI+ Power Control Options
CPU Load-Line Calibration: High
CPU Current Capability: 130%
CPU Voltage Frequency: Auto
CPU Fixed Frequency: 300kHz
VRM Over Temperature Protection: Auto
CPU Power Duty Control: T.Probe
Vcore MOS volt. Control: Auto
CPU Power Phase Control: Auto
CPU Vcore Bootup Voltage: Auto

In my personal opinion, it isnt best to someone else's results (mainly using their voltages) as different CPU's overclock differently using different volts, so i would say, test for voltages yourself, its slow but if you going to overclock, you should do it properly to learn, so incrementaly decrease the voltages while stress testing after each increment untill you get crashes, then turn the volts up, and turn the clock speed up as you turn the volts up.
Hope this helps
