Need Some Help!!!!

: Yesterday, i uninstalled this thing called sigmatel (an audio program VERY IMPORTANT) i thought it was useless... so it made me have no sound.. so i tried everything possible.. then i called dell and they took control over my computer and tried everything possible.. still nothing.. so they told me i have to start fresh and so i put in the windows vista disk and deleted all my stuff and started all over again.. when i download CS:S and went into vent my ping was 600-700.

THIS IS POSTED FROM MY FRIEND AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHATS WRONG???

is it just with CS you have high pings, or when you have vent on too?

Do you have any programs running. Might be worth having a look through your startup list for anything resourse hogging.

Probably not malware if its a fresh install, but you may as well scan.

Some people find port forwarding/triggering helps if you are on a router.

have you installed motherboard drivers, i bet its coz ure network port isnt working properly.
