I have been trying AI BOOST software as well as BIOS manually but cant get past 2.84ghz. without system crash.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Unfortunately the asus boards on the 6xxi chipsets were never great overclockers with quad coree cpu's.

You may want to update your bios, see if that allows you any extra mhz/functionality.

lool BIG MISTAKE! in what you have purchased

i fell in to the same hole without doing any research

P5N32-E SLI + Q6600 = LOTS OF HASTLE AND AN OVERCLOCK OF AROUND 2.89

WELL THATS WHAT I COULD GET OUT OF MY Q6600 LOL THEIRS A WHOLE 50 PAGE THREAD IN A FORUM THAT I WAS SIGNED UP TO A WHILE BACK ABOUT THIS ISSUE

SOME PEOPLE GOT LUCKY USING THE VCORE and vdroop PENCIL MOD FOR THE BOARD I ATTEMPTED BUT DIDNT GET ANYTHING OUT OF IT (BUT THEN AGAIN I DIDNT USE A FULL GRAPHITE PEN (TO LAZY TO GO AND BUY ONE:p)

i have made thread with the instructions hope it helps mate

P.S. sory for the caps :wavey:

VTT and vmch are the key to OCing quads on the 680i.

I pushed a pretty poor Q6600 to 3.1ish (iirc...).

Grabing a P35 mobo with good power management would be a better option though...
