ok, so sennhiesers returned, and the logitech arrived to day. the g430, sound good on my xonar dg. tried em on the included usb adaptor using the 7.1 software. had a game of cod ghosts. and damn, they sound really good. i guess i have found my new headset.
just ordered a pair of dt770s cheers guys
