Need Software but No DVD Drive

I just got my VG278H, however, I cannot get the 3D indicator light to turn on. Im assuming this is because I havent installed the CD that came with it... but I dont have a DVD drive... so where can I get this software online?

I don't have any drives anywhere.

The software CD is labelled "VG278 Series Software Installation and Manual V1.1" and there is also the EXPERIENCE 3D VISION CD, which is the demo and driver that I can get off the website.

try nvidia as its nvidia 3d vision you may find something there

bro I googled for 30 mins and came up blank as well I'd say go to the PC store or equivalent in ur area and purchase a external usb drive so you can use the disk

Well, think the bright side, atleast the drives dont cost too much!

you could do what S_I_N said or even if you have a another pc or a laptop with a drive, copy the contens of the disk onto a USB if you have and then run the .exe file of the use and that should launch the software

So I just went out a bought a DVD Drive, but the drivers on the DVD give me an error message saying "No compatible hardware found". I RMA'd my monitor, got the new one today... same thing! Is my video card the one causing the problems or is it something else?

I'd start looking in Nvidia control panel for anything related to 3d then and see whats up.

Figured it out. Turns out the first monitor was broken completely. The new one works perfect, I just had to re-reinstall the drivers and start the setup from square one.

All is fine, and no halo or backlight problems.

Huge issue with ghosting though. HUGE!

for ghosting it can be the cable is too close to a power cable try move it? or try another or new cable sometime they are not shielded properly.

i had the same problem with a DVI cable went and got a new one and it fixed it.

Really?! Thanks for the info I will have to move the cable. It's wrapped in a mess of power cables.
