I got the H100i today only to find out that I need the stock AMD cooler to be able to mount the waterblock and I dont have it because I gave it to my mum and now she uses it. How can I mount my H100?:(

You should have all the mounting hardware you need in the H100i box and you shouldn't need the stock cooler at all...

Have you read the manual?

You have absolutely everything you need. You place the waterblock on the CPU, then you place the square mount ontop with the holes above the plastic socket teeth you attatch the normal cooler to. You take the key looking metal objects and you put them trough those plastic socket teeth and then the pointy things trough the square metalic mount ear holes that goes over the block and use the thumbscrewes to secure tight if I'm not mistaken.

Tighten the thumbscrews or bolts ( whatever they are called ) both at the same time not one by one to assure you get even pressure across the whole surface of the CPU.

You are far from being wrong, that's the way to do it. Hopefully he gets it sorted.

I'm sorry if I'm sound like I'm completely ignoring your advice but I dont have the stock cooler and the 'mount' for the cpu cooler that i have has no teeth and is all metal.

Are you sure you're not trying to mount the H100i on an.. Intel platform? take a pic of your motherboard please ( especially the part where the socket is ).

I'm sure, I have an M5A97 R2.0 Mobo from Asus and I have an AMD FX-4170. Around the socket its just bear. Here it is:
