equk New member Apr 3, 2013 #2 second hand 2GB HD6950 ? (have seen them go for 80-100) or for £130 a new 2GB HD7850 (both have similar performance) Slightly over the £100 but better than the 7770 What are you using it for? Any specific games?

M Mathius New member Apr 4, 2013 #6 have you taken into account the selling price of your current card. (run Intel HD 4000, temporairily maybe) aim for a HD 7850 2gb, then a GTX 650 ti version and lastly a HD 7770 / GTX 650. Just incase you spot a GTX 560 Ti, this card being 1 gen old, sits just under the 7850. but as with most tech the newer stuff is better. Last edited: Apr 4, 2013

I have a 5770 which is very similar to the 7770 and it doesn't run any recent game at reasonable fps without tweaking the settings  I have even had to set the settings down on League Of Legends and DOTA2 BF3 runs at 45fps on metro with loads of tweaks (almost everything on low). On other maps the FPS drops to 35. Last edited: Apr 4, 2013
