need help with 4.5 overclcok

right with changes i made last night here are the new temps and volts . with ibt

idel-. 20 25 28 24 (1.088 volts)

full load ibt- 57 65 66 64 (1.384 volts)

Hi mate,

That's very good, very similar to my results at 4.5! I can't stress enough how much harder IBT pushes things vs. the likes of Prime 95 etc. so getting those temps under IBT is very good indeed.

I imagine Prime 95 would barely break into the 60's!

Hi,

Hmm, a little concerning you had a BSOD, did you make a note of the code? Given that Windows will tell you what it thinks might be the issue.

Note: I think I mentioned previously that you can run into issues where partial load isn't quite as stable as full load, but at only 4.5 I'd not expect this. For me, I had to do some additional tweaks for over 4.6 and beyond, though I do just run at 4.6 day-to-day now and have been for a little while.

no scoob i dont i was out at the time on both bsod it was the wife that was on it at the time. i think it was the ssd to blame because i have to go into the bios each time to set it to boot from ssd both time's because bios re sets another hard drive to have priorty some times i need to restartd the computer a few times for the ssd to be seen after the couple of bsod

Ah, ok mate. Sounds like your SSD is being rather troublesome there! Hope you manage to get to the bottom of it - not got an SSD myself yet, but might do when I next plan a software rebuild.
