As topic says,can't get this chip above 280 without getting blank screens etc as soon as i come out of bios,chip is mach 2 cooled and temps seem fine giving 1.75v and 3.015 mem volts on the adata vitesta 500,tried dropping the timings on the mem all to no avail.Btw the board has been droop/mem modded.
Wondering if the problem could lie in the Radeon 8500 which i gotta use as waiting for the x800xt to arrive.Got the card locked @ 66/33 etc tho so wouldn't of thought that.
Kinda hoping this chip isn't maxed as its an SlZ5 2.8 m0 which i've had on air @ 3.6 gig.
I think its the board as sometimes it will boot straight into windows and run fine @ 280fsb,then as soon as i restart windows to try for 285 or more blanc screen time fans whirring etc but no sys.
Am i missing something or you guys reckon this chips ****e ???
Any help guys, greatly appreciated,really wanted to hit at least 4gig with the mach2. Maybe not to be tho.
