The only reason I want to get it from newegg is so I can get the game bundle.

The bundles are not exclusive to Newegg. They are a promotion by AMD themselves. Some of the brands may add to the bundle (Club3D did so with mine), but Newegg is not doing anything. They are just a participating retailer.

In other words. You can get the same bundles at other stores.

True but Newegg is the #1 pc retailer in the US and have great customer service. Best to buy from them:)

Limited? Nope they got everything. Newegg ships very fast and cheap and offer free 2 day shipping quite often(or if you're like me and i have it free for a year). Newegg is also the easiest site to navigate through. We have other places like Amazon,Ebay, TigerDirect for pc hardware. For WC it's all about FrozenCpu/Performance-Pcs.com

It seems limited because some of the vendors are Europe only so we do not get those. Sucks... No Club3D:(

I guess I'm just used to more.

Did a quick search on a few items on Newegg vs. a random Danish equivalent store. In all but a few categories, Newegg only had about 1/10 the selection.
One of the few things where that wasn't the case was on specific graphics cards. For the 7870 the numbers were 17 vs. 42 with Newegg having the 17.

And free next day shipping is standard.

Yea the US doesn't get all of those brands like club3d which I quite like. I would have to go on ebay and get it shipped overseas which is something I don't like doing. But anyways in your guy's personal opinion do you think I should get the gpu now ( which would be more like the end of may) or watercool my pc first and see if the amd 8xxx series comes out?

True, more waiting. At this moment I am not sure if I want to water cool my video card or not. I would like to but, I can't really water cool a 7870le unless I go universal, but I really don't want to have to do that, just seems like more hassle

Quick google search will tell you. If you find a good website with somewhat credible info, post the link here for others to see:)

But yes i may end up selling the 7950 for a newer card:p

Honestly, I think that the idea of waiting for the next gen is just silly.
You could easily end up waiting 6 months for 8xxx at which point the same people saying to wait now, will be advising you to wait for 9xxx.

Unless the next gen is right around the corner (specific models confirmed), just get the best the current gen has to offer within your budget.

Another thing to consider is the special models. Such as the 7870 LE. you don't see those among the starting lineup for a new gen and they tend to have performance far beyond their price.
So for the same money at the start of a new gen, you generally don't get the same performance as with a wisely chosen previous gen model.

You have a very good point. I was actually just thinking about that. Right now my gtx 280 is all ghetto ridged with a 80mm fan taped inside of the shell lol. Will have to post a pic once I get out of school here

If i had to wait for any next gen card it would only be for a month or so, as the GTX 700 series should be coming out at end of may... I emphasize "should" by the way.

SO I have ran into a wall as of now, I was watching youtube videos last night and didn't think to keep an eye on temps, well my screen started showing artifacts so I opened up afterburner and my 280 was running a 115c! So i quickly ripped it out of the system before it started damaging my mobo.I will no longer be running it in my system now, So disappointing. I really need a new gpu and I can't go over $200. Any suggestions???

If you absolutely can't go above $200,- , your best options would be a 7850 or a 660.
Of the two, I would most likely go for the 660. I believe the zotac 660 is just under $200,- and I quite like Zotac.

But if I had to do that, it would bug my like crazy, that I could have had the 7870 LE for only $50,- more.

I like the tahiti le but I really want to watercool my gpu so I can get my gpu oc'd.. I have been depriveed of overclocking because the 280 does not overclock well at all.... would this be a good choice though, http://www.amazon.com/XFX-DisplayPo...2?ie=UTF8&qid=1368728179&sr=8-2&keywords=7870

Honestly, I unless you just want to OC for the fun of it, your plan is silly. Even if you OC the standard 7870, the LE will still beat it.

And why exactly can't you OC the LE on air?
I have the Club3D model. So far not OC'ed, but it looks to have plenty of thermal headroom to do so. Even after hours of gaming, it is still around the 60C mark.

As for the 7870 you linked to. It's less than $40,- from the LE. And I wouldn't touch XFX with a ten foot pole.
