So would the 5770 be up for crossfiring?? that sounds like a winner! I'd probably need to upgrade my psu tho wouldnt i?

dude the 5770 will play any game out there dont worry, the prices WILL drop considerably when fermi comes out, its been happening every year since the nvidia/ati war started, if you want to sell more you drop the prices, common sense.

go for the 5770 definatley, small fast and cool, also more expandablity i.e xfire.

budget cards are hugely underestimate these days, i mean im still using a 4670 and i play Mass effect 2 all the fancy settings up 1440x900 just fine.

I'm deffo with Ghost on this one. You can always expand to crossfire 5770's if you get a bit more cash laters and according to Tom xfire 5770's beats an 5850 in performance and the prices of all are sure to drop come the end of March when nVidia supposedly release fermi, though whether you want to wait that long I dunno.

Edit 1:With respect to changing power supply, I'd probably say yes cos I'm a safety freak, but it varies massively from makes to their actual output.

Edit 2: According to the Corsair PSU calculator (not 100% accurate obviously) they reckon with your current rig, if you crossfire two 5800 series cards, (as they dont have an option for 5770's,) that you'd need one of their 850W power supplies. But, again I don't know if they're being safety freaks like me and you could really get away with a 750W.

Checking the ATI site, the 5770's must be relatively power conscious as they say you'll need at least 450W for one and at least 600W for Crossfire so you should be fine with a 750W from a reputable company thats not stingy on their rails.
