Need advice on upgrading

Ok, so as the title says I need some advice on whether to upgrade or not. I use my PC for playing games and some rendering for some of my friends. The main question is would there be a benefit of me upgrading to say a 2500K or a 2600K ? Or even up to LGA 2011, I would like an upgrade but I wouldn't do it unless it was necessary.

Well It depends what you use your pc for? And IMO it would be much better going to sandy or 2011

Is it struggling in games?

Just to upgrade that you are looking at a lot of money. For like z77 + 3570k (rendering then 3750k) with 670 its almost new build costs.

If its not causing problems then slap a nice SSD( m4 or 830) in it.

It's not causing me any problems, I would just like something faster I have been thinking about getting another 570 and just SLI them Aswell with more RAM and an SSD ?

Well 570's are pretty cheap so going sli IMO would be a good idea 8gb should still be fine.

Samsung 830 or m4 - They are fine on sata2, then its there waiting for your next sata3 build . They are the fastest/most reliable SSDs and the prices aint bad either.

Unless you are benching it you will never really see speeds like that, but if you were it would be limited by the sata2.

If you are going to get a 580.. get a 670 instead.

Ok, I won't be upgrading till the end of this year anyway so I still have time to make changes and what not, So would I not benefit from a 2500k in games then ?

Slightly yeah but as andrew said if you are not having any problems then there is no point
