No not really :)

Well the 3 brands i would recommend are: Corsair, Seasonic and Silverstone.

I think 650W is a good spot for your specs all tho you could get away with less suposing its a gold/plat rated psu from one of the brands above.

I would take Corsair AX/RM if the budget lets you but the Silverstone Striders also seem to be a good shot.

I am even tempted to take a strider myself in the next couple of days...

Take a look at this one:

These are the one with the flat cables aswell.

But wait for other members to pop in and hear what they have to say.

Cheers.

EDIT: RM 650 is cheaper !

I've edited my post above. There is a RM 650 going for £87 at scan. The Strider 850 is at £122.

Your choice now.

the RM650 Fits in my budget thanks. i like the flat cables but do corsair have sleeve cables for them like the ax series?

i've never seen a seasonic psu model.

IDK if they make sleeved cables for the RM series...

Also do you plan on multi-gpu'ing in the future ?

I ask because th RM 650 only offers 2 x 6+2pin pci-e connectors.

EDIT: there are sleeved cable kits availible for the rm series.

good stuff. I dont have to buy mdpc stuff then.

I might do depends on the market. AMD gpu prices gone crazy lately. I bought my 280x for £210 on scan.

if i do would the RM750 which hits the £100 mark, would be enough to handle 2x r9 280x or instead of the doing xfire ill get the top end gpu from nvidia.

The AX 760 you linked me comes with 6x6pin pci-e connectors (written in aria's description) how ever most high end gpu's including your 280x iirc have atleast one 8pin power connector.
