Need a bolt through am2 cooler! suggestions needed!

Okay, first off, it's been a while since I last posted, to hello again :)

Here's my problem:

I currently use an am2 rig, and as much as I like it, I have just, (for the SECOND time with this mobo!) lost one of the little plastic nubbins on the cpu socket that most coolers clip onto. (It literally tore off over time, despite the cpu cooler not actually being a tight fit, or overstrained etc.) I'm sick of having to use coolers that rely on this feeble bit of badly cast plastic in order to stay in place!

So what I'm essentially looking for is a decenty priced CPU cooler for am2 CPU's that COMPLETELY bypasses the crappy stock plastic surround and uses a "bolt through" or similar design.

Thermal performance doesn't have to be great, It just needs to not cost the earth, and be at least as good as a stock cooler, whilst using a retention mechanism that DOES NOT use the standard crappy plastic nubbin/stupidly overtight clip system.

Also, as much as I may seem like a rambling idiot, I don't need any technical advice, I just want suggestions for coolers!

Thanks,

Matt.

define not to expensive, as everything I can think of will be £50+. Cheap ones will generally use the std cpu bracket.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, But I ended up getting a corsair H50 water cooling system off of ebuyer for 60 quid :) It's not even been set up for more than an hour, any my 6000+ x2 is running at 35c* under normal load @ 3.4GHZ per core. Well chuffed, I'd suggest you do a review of one if you can at some point tom, they're nifty little systems for people who need cheap water cooling!
