My Vapor-X 4890's and the problems.

Hey,

I have 2 Vapor-X 4890's in my rig and well, I don't really have big problems with them.

When playing a GPU intensive game like Crysis or Call of Juarez in crossfire mode with both cards inserted the MemIO sensor picks up high temps (95 - 105*C) but only on my master card.

Took one card out, all temps were normal.

I don't have any other major issues except that my particular card's product number's been reported faulty by sapphire (for a different set of problems)

Seen someone draw a scheme of someone else's pc in a very similar thread, so I did it too, lol.

Ofc it's hard to say without knowing all the rpms, but it would appear u got more fannage drawing out than going in. Plus the 4890 cards have exhausts ?

Not too much of a big deal compared to the other way around cos the extra air will get pulled in through any gaps in the case.

That's alot of fans mind.

Vapor-X varriants don't seem to have any exhaust. Also, no matter how fast any fans are, the memIO sensor will still go that high.

Is it even dangerous ?
