My Setup (Guitar porn!)

Hey again guys, I know, I'm a crappy forumer but what you gonna do about it?

It's the end of half term and I have to go back to college on monday, all I have to show for my week off is my tidy room (I've spent the last 4 days on this, haven't properly cleared out my room for ages lol) and a hangover, so let me know what you think

Here's under my desk and that sexy V2000 I've been hiding for a year, gotta fix the electrics to get the phasey goodness inside hooked up soon, but it's a shame to have half a grand sitting in a box in the corner taking up space lol

And on the Left hand side of my 'studio', we have my Tascam DP-01 FXCD Digital Portastudio (basically a fancy hard disk recorder ) and my 21" IBM CRT...



On the right hand side is where I put all the interesting stuff... Theres my external HDD and DVD writer (who uses an internal optical drive these days anyway? the cdrom drive in my rig isn't even plugged in).

The Speakers are Roland DM-10 digital mini studio monitors, under the speaker theres an Ibanez HD1000 Harmonic Delay (rack mountable guitar fx from the 80's :yumyum, Yamaha tape deck (home taping will never die!), and my little 10 channel Yamaha Mixer...

And to think, all of this is just so I can listen to country music at reasonable volume levels

Haha thanks, I like my CRT lol I couldn't find an LCD big enough for the right price and I suck at saving because I seem to end up buying guitars whenever I have money, like screw it my CRT works, I think I'd be looking for a 26" widescreen LCD or one of those sexy triplehead setups and I just can't be bothered yet

Just like my mate, guitar crazy and I guess they lost their virginity to them aswell. They always make up excuses instead of coming out hmmmf.

CRT are great for gaming, but LCD they wont make you blind.

CRTs are fine.. if you can deal with the flicker.. keep on spending monies on the music!
