My Refreshed Haswell Build

Hi Guys,

Just though I'd share my finished rebuild - I've just switched over from AMD to Intel and decided I wanted to do things properly.

Back when I first posted up my rig in it's earlier guise, TTL wasn't a fan of the side window grill and I agreed. I had a custom piece of perspex made up and I'm so glad I did!

Whilst I was going along the custom route.. I had some GPU Backplates and SLI covers designed, to better blend in with the theme of the new mobo. I also cut up some Corsair 800D grommets to fit the CM690.

Still have a few minor things to sort, but it's up and running - I'm pleased with it so far. Comments/ Suggestions Welcome!

I did indeed - plain bright white illumination, with the ability to adjust brightness. This is about 1/3 of how bright they go. :)

This is a beautiful upgrade sir, I must say your red theme is quite eye catching. You have a nice tidy and all around attractive looking build. A work of art you should be proud of :]

Thanks All! :)

I was thinking of getting a plate made up in the same style as the GPU plates to cover over the PSU label.. thoughts?

Just to personalise it further and cover up the boring 1000W writing on the PSU. Why not?

Just treated myself to an SLR and have been messing around - not a clue what I'm doing yet, but practice makes..!

I also replaced the 3 Pin connector going to the CPU header with a matching braided version. :)
