My pride and joy :). Bad pics but hey it's something :).

Sweet rig dude!

If you ever go sli on dual 8x lanes, please let me and all the good people on OC3D know how well it works.

Cheers!

PS: Good call, go for orange!!

Cheers mate!!

You reckon?? I think the blue looks a bit washed out against the heatsink and black inside of the case. The blue reflections outside the case look bloody sweet though.

They don't sell orange neons so I have to look for a orange "red" cold cathode

I think the orange and blue gives it a nice contrast, the blue dose look a bit washed out and would look better if it was darker though, but if you want to go for the all orange, go for it mate

Cheers guys

GBcf, doubt I will ever go SLI, I am one just to stick to one good single GFX card... SLI waste of power and money lol... IMO
biggrin.gif
. Also don't like how the GFX cards have very restricted airflow...

Thanks SieB, these blue neons looked sweet inside my old car, really dark and rich effect, but in the PC case they just blur out...

I will go get some reflective foil and put it behind them now, currently it is against black and that can't be no good for reflecting most the output to where it's needed!

Awesome Setup!

Personally i wouldnt have gone for all orange.. i think it would be too much. I think its better to have a more neutral colour highlighitng the majority of the case and have the orange leds on the fans stand out

Soon to get replace neons with orange!!

And still a few fans left to give the orange LED makeover
smile.gif
.

Front fan is running at half voltage or so, dims the LED down a fair bit

.

The fan's a bit loud at 12V...

Might have to make my own resistor mod or fan controller...

idk about the orange lights... looks weird with blue and red. If u make it solid orange then perhaps i will look better

I really like the contrast between the orange and blue. Kinda hot on the outside cool on the inside, I think it works really well. I love those orange fans you've got, did you led mod them yourself? If so have you got any details or piccies please? Are you still using the CM fan up top - are you planning to change that?

Thanks man, yeah LED modded them myself takes some time but it's worth it for that custom look, and you get to use decent fans too
smile.gif
. It looks miles better without filters but oh well

Yeah, I am using the CM fan up top also, not really planing to change it, I did at first but it involves a bit too much work for a fan which I can't see unless looking for it...
smile.gif

Next up will be the CPU heatsink fans as they are very, very visible.

WoW I've just read through that post on how to do that fan mod - looks like a lot of work... But the end result is worth it - looks cool.

Yeah as soon as I saw that guide I just had to try it out... And I was really pleased the first time I spun the fan up as it does really look as good or better than the one in the guide!! When it spins up it looks so awesome..

And thanks

Here's a vid I just made:

I want one...

Was considering the Enermax Apollish Vegas. But they're nearly £18 - ouch! I'm pretty lazy these days when it comes to modding something from scratch, but it looks like something I may have a crack at.

Awesome, the contrast between the orange and blue should stay IMO.

I hope you rotate the CPU heatsink fans' cable to poke out the rear and out of sight for the next update.

Yes, the heatsink cables are now not viewable, they are behind the motherboard case area.

Yeah, it's a Cooler Master HAF X

Cheers
